Plain English, because that's how we do everything else: we collect the information you give us so we can do the work you asked for, we keep it in one CRM, we never sell it, and every email we send has a working unsubscribe link. This page explains the details — and where you have a choice, how to make it.
BolsterWP LLC is a marketing agency based in Seaford, Delaware. This policy covers bolsterwp.com and the information we collect through it. It applies to visitors to the site, people who fill out our forms, and anyone who contacts us. Information you give us. When you request a free AI Visibility Report, the form asks for your business name, your name, your industry, your service area, your website URL, and your email address. That's what we need to research your business's AI visibility and send you the report — nothing on the form is collected for any other reason. When you contact us or subscribe to our content, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, and whatever you write to us.
Information collected automatically to run the site. Our hosting provider processes standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested — to serve the site, protect it from abuse, and keep short-lived server logs.
Information collected automatically for analytics and advertising. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and how our marketing performs. Section 3 explains exactly what these do — and how to turn them off.
We use Google Analytics to see which pages and campaigns bring people here, and — when we're running ad campaigns — conversion tags from Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn to measure whether those ads actually work. These load by default when you visit, so that we can measure traffic and improve the site. They see standard browsing data — the pages you visit here, your device and browser type, referring links, and ad-click identifiers — but we don't send them your name, email, or anything you type into our forms.
You can opt out, and it's easy. Click "cookies" in the footer of any page to turn analytics and advertising cookies off; decline and the site works exactly the same, with no tracking cookies at all. If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a standing opt-out automatically — nothing loads and you don't have to lift a finger. For California residents, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (see section 10).
Strictly necessary cookies — the ones that keep the site secure and working — are always on and can't be switched off, because the site can't function without them. How each analytics and advertising provider handles the data it receives is described in their own policies: Google, Meta, LinkedIn.
Every form on this site uses a bot-protection service to tell humans from bots. It processes technical signals from your browser (such as your IP address and device characteristics) to make that call, and it works without the puzzle-solving of traditional CAPTCHAs. It's provided by the same infrastructure company that hosts the site, and it doesn't see the values you type into the form.
We don't sell or rent your information to anyone, ever, and we forward to any provider only the fields the job requires — we don't dump free-form data into third-party systems. We share limited information with a small set of service providers who work on our behalf:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property — and we'd tell you unless we're legally barred from doing so.
Lead and contact information is stored in our own CRM, which runs on the same infrastructure that serves this site. Our providers are U.S.-based, and your information is processed in the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., you're asking us to process your information here, and we protect it under this policy wherever it's handled.
Every marketing email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, honored immediately, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires and as basic decency suggests. You can also just reply and tell us to stop — a human reads those, and the same thing happens.
We keep contact and lead information for as long as we have an active relationship or a legitimate business reason to hold it. Ask us to delete your information and we will — from our CRM and anywhere else we control — unless a legal obligation requires us to keep a specific record. Analytics data is retained on a rolling basis and is not tied to your name or email.
Wherever you live, we extend the same courtesy: ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email support@bolsterwp.com or use the contact page. We'll verify your request (usually by confirming the email address we have on file) and respond within the timelines the law requires. We won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Because our analytics and advertising cookies may share browsing data with those platforms, we treat turning them off — via the footer "cookies" link or a Global Privacy Control signal — as your opt-out of sale/sharing. We don't sell personal information for money, and we don't knowingly share the personal information of anyone under 16.
EU/UK/other jurisdictions (GDPR and similar). If you're in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, those rights apply and we'll honor them, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Where we rely on consent (analytics and advertising cookies), you can withdraw it anytime.
This site is for established small businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@bolsterwp.com and we'll delete it.
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect. Material changes will be obvious — we won't bury them.
